  • Oversee production of reports, studies, policy briefs and other strategic documents to advance the policy agenda and establish the Coalition as the go-to resource for policymakers and regulators.
  • Lead any policy-oriented efforts (no ballot initiatives or candidate support), including but not limited to providing testimony, training others and supporting administrative advocacy to ensure strong implementation of existing local and state laws and policies.

Market Development
  • Establish a market development agenda for New York that includes the strategies and partnerships necessary to transform the market toward scaling building electrification in alignment with the Coalition’s national strategic plan.

  • Oversee production of high profile reports, studies, research and other strategic documents to advance the market development agenda and establish the Coalition as the go-to resource for manufacturers, contractors, union leaders and others involved in the building sector.
  • Regularly convene market players to develop relationships and strengthen networks in order to address barriers to building decarbonization, identify solutions and lift up market leaders.
  • Determine the need for and facilitate industry- or equipment-specific and/or regionally-focused working groups to advance building decarbonization within the state.
  • Catalyze and facilitate implementation of market development activities such as changes to  equipment/appliance specifications, industry-led consumer awareness campaigns, innovative financing and program design (incentives) and workforce development.

Resource Development & Budget Management
  • Partner with the Executive Director and the Director of Strategic Partnerships to support fundraising and other revenue-generating efforts (memberships and partnerships) for the Coalition’s New York work.
